I'm sorry to hear your computer has a virus. I enjoy your blog. I asked my husband (who is a tech geek) about the Trojan virus. He said we use Norton antivirus which you have to buy but he said he also recommends this free antivirus software. http://www.malwarebytes.org Click on the "Download free version" button to get Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. We are in the US but I think you could use this too. Good luck.

sorry to hear your computer has a virus peggy, I'v made the mistake before of not renewing my antivirus software and paid the price, luckily my friend works in IT and was able to completely wipe my computer and rebuild it. AVG also have free antivirus software you can get online and download but you would be better off buying Norton or some other good antivirus software. But in the meantime, AVG is quite good and free. Good luck, hope your back online soon.

Linda: I have Norton since I changed my computer 2 years ago but it got past it, even though I have it set to run regular scans. My son in law cleaned it up for me today and he has downloaded the malwarebytes for me so fingers crossed!
Sharonl:Back online, I know it is something we all dread getting on our computers but I thought I had security covered.

How devastating to have a VIRUS and/or TROJAN HORSE in your computer...I too have used Norton since my computer kept crashing time after time several years ago...losing text and photos can be overwhelming and downright depressing...I hope you're as fortunate as I was...we were living in Florida close to my son, thankfully he's savvy about computers...I wasn't able to salvage anything but he put in a new hard drive for me and more memory and from that time on I've used Norton...I'm hoping for the very best for you...you'll be sorely missed, so hope you're back soon with your computer all cleaned out...
